Records
Despite its brief history, the Oak Park High School golf program has developed into one of the most competitive in the region. Since its inception in 1996, Oak Park has won
six league titles (the first in its inaugural season behind RD Donahue, Ryan Kalember, Scott Kleinbaum, Ryan Odenberg,
David Faller, and Warren Kim), and has gone on to compete in CIF postseason play
tevery year. In 2000, the Oak Park team of James Logeman, Richard Young, Anton Nikolic, Kevin Clement, Brandon Beck and Sean Martin finished second in the CIF Northern Regional to advance to the CIF Finals,
a feat matched by the 2006 squad of Alex Kang, Chris Severn, Ben Howard, Cole
Pensanti, Robbie Weinstein and Austin Levine. In 2002 junior Brandon Beck finished 5th in CIF with a one-under par 71, and became the first golfer in school history to
advance to the SCGA/CIF State Finals where he finished in a tie for 15th at even par 72.
